An extremely kind commissioner pointed out to me the other day that I had somehow failed to update my commission info on DeviantArt -- my old post about it pointed to a website that I abandoned over a year ago! Therefore, I am starting fresh with this, a new commission post. Let the info begin!

Who Am I?
I am currently a professional artist specializing in pixel art game sprites and digitial painting. A handful of my clients are private individuals from Furcadia seeking portraits or custom art for their dreams, and occasionally even Dragon's Eye Productions; for examples of my "official" Furcadian work, check out the KitterToaster Portraits or the Peacock/Lovebird avatars and portraits. This DeviantArt account is primarily devoted to work done specifically for Furcadia or Furcadian players.

I am most popularly commissioned for humans, but have no particular qualms about anthros, avians, ferals - you name it, I'll probably draw it.

Pricing
All prices are approximate and may be more or less. I need to know the specifics of the job to quote you an exact price. I accept paypal only unless otherwise noted.

Furcadian Portraits: Base price $30
Always included in base price: Single character seen from the shoulders up. Simple or patterned background. Your choice of remapping or fixed-color 24-bit portrait.
May possibly cost extra: Large and detailed wings, excessively complex hairstyle (I've only had a single commission in the last three years that fell into this category), very detailed backgrounds.

Character Art: Base price $50
These are usually digital paintings rendered at print resolution. [Example] That means you could take the file down to kinkos and have a glossy printed to hang on your wall, if you wanted. You will be provided with three sizes; print resolution, web sized, and a cropped portrait/forum avatar size. A silhouetted, patterned or other sample background may be included in the base price. Slight discounts on each additional character added to the scene.

Furcadian Patches: CLOSED as of this writing on Feb 17th 2009
Priced on an individual basis. I do not take on commissions for entire dreams any longer. I will do small batches of items per each contract, with the understanding that I may or may not be able to accept subsequent batches. My patches are fully compliant with standard Furcadian perspective and light source -- unless your dream has its own internal light sources defined.

DragonSpeak Code: Per case basis
If you need complex DragonSpeak for your Furcadian dream, I can help! If it's possible with the current Dragonspeak system, I can do it. This is the only category for which I have been known to occasionally accept payment in Dragonscales instead of Paypal.

Or, if you are seeking a portrait, you can start by filling out this form, because at some point I'm going to ask you to do it anyway even if you contact me in another fashion. This form allows me to capture all the relevant information in an organized way that is fast and easy for me to reference later. It helps ensure that you will be getting just what you want and that I will be less confused as I try to do it, so please take the time to fill it out thoughtfully, including all relevant details*. After I receive the form, if I accept I will respond with any questions I might have and either quote you a price or quote you prices on a range of options. Once you've agreed to the quote or picked which option you want, I'll reply to let you know what commission slot/position in the waiting list you are.

*Note: Your character's entire life story is not considered relevant. Their entire extended family is not relevant. If it isn't going to be in the portrait, it's just irrelevant stuff that I have to dig through to find what I need to know to draw the port! Tell me in detail what you want the port to look like and nothing else, please.

ABOUT THE GALLERY
Yes, it's still going to happen. It is being designed and prepared with the upcoming 24-bit update in mind. Since that update has been delayed by a few months, so has the gallery. This gives you more time to make awesome art to submit!
